Origins

Brad Jenschke is a Texas country music singer, songwriter, guitarist and recording artist from Poteet, TX. He is on a mission to bring back true traditional country music in an era where the label “country” is slapped on anything. He is known for his cowboy image, polite and professional attitude towards fans and for grinding out guitar solos on his self-forged John Deere green guitar, known as “The Teletractor.”

The self-proclaimed “Rockstar Rancher” is a real working man who spends his days baling hay and working cattle, but suits up at night to play venues all over South Texas. He literally delivered a baby calf for a struggling cow an hour and a half before his first gig. His work ethic is reflected in his music as well: He has written, sang, and played all the guitars on every song that he has recorded.

Brad has “played for all and played for none,” with his range of venues including everything from ranch parties to rowdy dive bars to rodeo crowds and large festivals. He has opened for several big names including Roger Creager, Kevin Fowler, Parker McCollum and Granger Smith. He frequently packs the dancefloor at Tejas Rodeo Company in Bulverde, and has even been seen entertaining a wall-to-wall crowd on 6th Street in Austin!

A video on Facebook featuring Brad singing one of his original songs, “Where Strawberries Grow,” has received just shy of 18,000 views. The song is a tribute to his hometown, Poteet, TX, and the massive Strawberry Festival that is a Texas favorite. His song “West Texas Girl” is his first song recorded in a professional recording studio, and is featured on several Texas radio stations. His upcoming song, “Angel in a Cowboy Hat” is believed to out-perform anything that he has done to date.

If Brad shows up to a venue, the people are guaranteed to do three things: dance, drink, and have a great time. His band, Neon Ranch, is composed of professional musicians that sing and play their hearts out no matter where they play or how many are in attendance. Bars, Dancehalls, Dives, Ranches, Festivals and Concerts are all in for a treat when Brad Jenschke takes the stage.
